Australia fight back in rollercoaster start to deciding Test against South Africa
In the deciding third Test at Cape Town, Australia captain Pat Cummins chose to bowl first, a decision that initially backfired as South Africa's openers reached 140 without loss by lunch. However, Australia fought back dramatically, with Mitchell Starc taking four wickets in six balls to help dismiss South Africa for 329 all out. The match also saw Australia make four non-disciplinary changes to their lineup, including dropping Steve Smith and Scott Boland, the first time a touring Australian side has made that many such changes since 1984.
