Australia survive almighty Fiji scare to stay unbeaten at Rugby League World Cup

Australia defeated Fiji 36-22 in a Rugby League World Cup match held in Brisbane, with Tom Trbojevic scoring a hat-trick to lead the Kangaroos to victory. Fiji's Semi Valemei also scored three tries as the Bati ran in four tries total, pushing the hosts to their limits throughout the 80 minutes. The result keeps Australia unbeaten in the tournament, though the performance was considered unconvincing against the spirited Fijian underdogs.
