'Bab the Bull' mascot unveiled for European Athletics Championships in Birmingham

The official mascot for the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, named 'Bab the Bull', was unveiled with less than 100 days to go before the event. Bab made its debut appearance at the Mascot Dash during the Junior and Mini Great Birmingham Run at Alexander Stadium, where it placed first. The European Athletics Championships will be held in Birmingham from 10th August, marking the first time the games have come to the UK.
