Pete Alonso, who signed a five-year, $155 million contract with the Baltimore Orioles in December after seven seasons with the New York Mets, returned to New York City for the first time as a visiting player on Friday. The 31-year-old first baseman homered on his first plate appearance at Yankee Stadium, hitting an opposite-field solo shot to the second deck in right field during the second inning.
