Ballon d'Or blunder! Site names Kane, Yamal AND Mbappé as winners

The official Ballon d'Or website accidentally published pre-prepared winner articles naming Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, and Lamine Yamal as winners of the 2026 men's award approximately two-and-a-half hours before the ceremony at the London Palladium. Organiser France Football confirmed the articles had been prepared in advance for all nominees and were inadvertently posted early. The organisation stated the premature publications should not be considered an indication of the final results or rankings.
