BCCI announces major venue change for India-Sri Lanka series; 1st ODI moved from New Delhi

The BCCI has announced that the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka will be moved from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam. The relocation was approved by the Board of Control for Cricket in India following a request from the Delhi District Cricket Association, citing ongoing renovations at the Delhi venue and concerns about potentially adverse weather conditions in the capital. The change affects the opening match of the India-Sri Lanka ODI series.
