Beattie’s delight as Scottish Thistles triumph in Melrose

Ciaran Beattie's Scottish Thistles development side won the Melrose Sevens tournament, defeating Musselburgh, Peebles, Melrose, and Kelso on the way to the final. In the showpiece game, the team won in style with tries scored by Freddie Owsley, Brent Jackson, and Isaac Coates. Beattie, who heads the Great Britain and Scotland Sevens programmes, guided his side to triumph at the prestigious event.
