Ben James takes RBC Canadian Open lead in professional debut

23-year-old Ben James, the top-ranked PGA TOUR University player and a recent Virginia graduate, shot a 7-under 63 in the second round of the RBC Canadian Open to reach 10-under total and take the lead in his professional debut. He trails ahead of notable players including Sam Burns, defending champion Ryan Fox, and Brooks Koepka. James earned his entry into the event through his PGA TOUR University ranking and also recently qualified for his third U.S. Open.
