Ben Kohles shoots 62 to take the 1st-round lead in the 3M Open, Scottie Scheffler 3 shots back

Ben Kohles shot a 9-under 62, including an eagle on the final hole, to take a two-shot lead after the first round of the 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota on Thursday. Emiliano Grillo, Jackson Koivun, and Gary Woodland were tied at 64, while world number one Scottie Scheffler, making his first appearance at the event, posted a 65 after birdieing five of his final eight holes. Scheffler came into the tournament off a fourth-place finish at the British Open.
