Ben Pattison and Alastair Chalmers win in Bydgoszcz

British athletes Ben Pattison and Alastair Chalmers claimed victories at the Irina Szewinska Memorial Continental Tour Gold meeting in Bydgoszcz, Poland on May 29. Pattison won the men's 800m in 1:45.58 while Chalmers took the 400m hurdles in 48.71. A major pile-up in the women's 800m on the final bend saw Jemma Reekie and Issy Boffey fall and fail to finish, with Swiss athlete Valentina Rosamilia winning the race in 2:00.73.
