Beno Obano: Bath prop to move to Pau and put England career on ice

Bath loosehead prop Beno Obano, 31, has agreed to join French Top 14 side Pau at the end of the upcoming season, which will effectively put his England Test career on hold. The move follows a similar pattern to other England players who have moved abroad, making them ineligible for international selection. Obano earned his fifth England cap in a defeat against South Africa, during which he suffered a hamstring injury after coming on as a replacement for Ellis Genge.
