Beyond the Purse: Inside Golf Saudi’s US$15m strategy to reshape women’s golf

Golf Saudi's PIF Global Series has committed an unprecedented US$15 million in total prize money across five international events for the 2026 Ladies European Tour season, aiming to reshape the commercial landscape of women's professional golf. The initiative, originally launched in 2021 as the Aramco Team Series, is backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) and targets longstanding issues such as limited funding and fragmented sponsorship. The PIF London Championship, held at Centurion Club in Hertfordshire from August 6–9, 2026, will mark the sixth consecutive running of the event.
