Big 12 fines UCF $100,000 for anti-LDS chants during BYU game, institutes field penalty for future incidents

The Big 12 Conference has fined UCF $100,000 for anti-LDS (Latter-day Saint) discriminatory chants directed at BYU during a recent game between the two schools. UCF defeated BYU in what was described as an upset win. The Big 12 also announced that future incidents of discriminatory chanting will result in an on-field penalty.
