Bills DB Damar Hamlin part of Guinness-record CPR training at NFL draft

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest during a 2023 NFL game, helped set a Guinness World Record for 'most people to complete CPR training in one hour' on April 24 at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh during Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft. A total of 1,293 people completed CPR training within a 60-minute window, with the effort organized in partnership with the NFL, the American Heart Association, and Dr. Mike Varshavski. Hamlin, now 28 and entering his sixth NFL season after re-signing with Buffalo in March, called the achievement an opportunity to build a 'life-saving legacy' in his hometown.
