Birmingham European Athletics Championships road race routes revealed

The routes for the elite road races at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham have been revealed, with marathon and race walk events taking place on a 1km loop around the city centre, starting on Colmore Row and finishing in Victoria Square. Spectators can watch for free along Waterloo Street, Temple Row West, and Colmore Row. The championships run from 10 to 16 August at Alexander Stadium, featuring more than 1,600 athletes from 48 countries.
