Black Knight Rugby: New Exeter owners can make Chiefs 'best club in the world'

American investment group Black Knight Rugby, affiliated with Cannae Holdings and the same ownership group behind AFC Bournemouth and the NHL's Las Vegas Black Knights, completed their acquisition of Exeter Chiefs on Tuesday. Exeter chairman Tony Rowe, who had personally funded the club for 25 years, says the new American investors will maximise the salary cap and invest in the women's game. Rowe believes the takeover can propel Exeter Chiefs to become the best rugby club in the world.
