Blades Brown, 19, joins PGA Tour as special temporary member

Blades Brown, 19, has accepted a special temporary membership on the PGA Tour, making him eligible for unlimited sponsor exemptions through the FedExCup Fall. The Nashville native accumulated 266 non-member FedExCup points after a tie for 14th at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, placing him between 88th and 89th in the standings, and sits 11th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list. Brown can earn his PGA Tour card for the 2027 season by matching the points total of the 70th-place finisher in the final 2026 FedExCup Fall standings or by finishing in the top 20 on the Korn Ferry Tour.
