Bonds set over $1M for man charged in killing rising boxing star
Charles Medina appeared in a Brazos County court on Tuesday for a bond hearing related to the July 18 killing of rising boxing star Hannah Rapp, of Bryan, Texas. Medina is accused of reversing his vehicle into Rapp and her boyfriend while they were riding bicycles, killing Rapp. The judge set Medina's total bonds at nearly $1 million, rejecting the defense's request for $50,000 per charge, which covered manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
