Bowie gets Pocognoli off mark with Scotland victory in North Macedonia

Scotland defeated North Macedonia in a Nations League Section B1 match, with Kieron Bowie scoring in the seventh minute and John McGinn adding a penalty goal (his 22nd international strike) to secure the win. The victory gave new Scotland manager Sébastien Pocognoli his first goal and maiden win in charge. The match was slightly marred by Scott McKenna's late red card, though Scotland's dominance throughout was never seriously in doubt.
