Boxing champ Abdullah Mason brings title fight home to Cleveland

WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason, a native of Bedford in Northeast Ohio, will defend his title against former IBF super-featherweight champion Joe Cordina at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland on July 4. Mason claimed the lightweight championship in November by defeating Sam Noakes. Tickets for the Independence Day bout go on sale Friday.
