Boxing champion Zolani Tete shot dead at 38 in ‘hail of bullets’

South African boxing world champion Zolani Tete, who held titles in multiple weight classes, was fatally shot on Friday evening outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa. He was 38 years old at the time of his death. The shooting was reported by SABC Sport journalist Velile Mnyandu.
