BOXING: Scoby scores knockout at Mohegan Fall Fists

Kurt Scoby, an Old Forge resident competing at 140 pounds, knocked out Edward Ceballos in the first round of the main event at Mohegan Fall Fists, held at the Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Pennsylvania on Saturday in front of 1,125 fans. Scoby dropped Ceballos with a left hook after landing early straight rights, and Ceballos could not beat the 10-count. Scoby is scheduled to fight again on November 28 in the Dominican Republic.
