Boxing: Two-time world champion Zolani Tete shot dead outside home in South Africa

Former two-time boxing world champion Zolani Tete, 38, was shot and killed outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa on Friday. The WBO bantamweight and IBF super-flyweight champion was ambushed while sitting in his car waiting for his gate to open, when two armed suspects in balaclavas fired multiple shots at him. A 27-year-old female passenger was also shot and remains hospitalised.
