Brandon McCoy Jr. injury casts a pall over Michigan's Europe finale

Michigan basketball's Europe tour ended with an 84-81 exhibition win over Serbia's Mega Superbet on August 27 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, but was overshadowed by an injury to five-star freshman guard Brandon McCoy Jr. McCoy, one of the team's two McDonald's All-Americans, exited just 20 seconds into the game after slipping while driving to the basket, and was carried off the court favoring his right leg. A program spokesperson confirmed McCoy would continue to be evaluated but provided no further update on his condition.
