Brewers' pitcher to serve suspension during series finale vs. Reds
Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Abner Uribe has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount by MLB for a crotch-chopping gesture he made in May toward the St. Louis Cardinals' dugout at American Family Field. The Brewers announced Uribe will serve his suspension during the series finale against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park on June 24, 2026. Uribe had pitched in four of the five days leading up to the suspension, posting a scoreless inning in each of the first two games of the series against Cincinnati.
