Brighton plan UK's first women's football stadium

Brighton and Hove Albion have announced plans to build the UK's first purpose-built women's football stadium, located on Bennett's Field next to the men's Amex Stadium, connected via a bridge walkway. The new ground will have a capacity of at least 10,000 and is targeted to open by the 2030/31 season. Brighton Women currently play their WSL home matches at Broadfield Stadium, which they share with League Two side Crawley Town.
