Brit Menzies wins second darts title of year

Scottish darts player Cameron Menzies won his second ProTour title of 2025 by defeating Gian van Veen 8-4 in the Players Championship 29 final held in the Netherlands. Menzies raced into a dominant 5-0 lead against Van Veen, who is the European champion and the Netherlands' top-ranked player, before closing out the match after a brief fightback. The victory marked Menzies' fourth career ProTour title across five years on tour, despite him having previously considered quitting the sport after injuring his hand.
