British Athletics Championships: Charlotte Henrich breaks Welsh record

Charlotte Henrich, 19, broke a 44-year-old Welsh record in the 400m at the British Athletics Championships in Birmingham, running a personal best of 50.58 seconds to win bronze. Her time beat Michelle Scutt's record that had stood since 1982. Henrich, who won European U20 Championships gold over 800m last year, expressed delight at achieving the feat on a track not known for fast times and in hot weather.
