British Chess Championship - Live!

The 112th British Chess Championship is being held at the University of Warwick in Coventry from 1–9 August, featuring a 9-round Swiss open format with a classical time control. The event has attracted over 1,750 entries, making it the largest in the championship's history, which dates back almost unbroken since 1904. Top-ranked players include Luke McShane, Michael Adams, and Shreyas Royal, with 11-year-old prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan notable as the highest-rated woman in the field.
