British Cycling under scrutiny over allegations of ‘toxic culture’ in leadership team
British Cycling is under scrutiny after former commercial manager Jack Lindsay, who worked there from 2024 to 2025, accused the organisation of having a 'toxic culture' and claimed his formal bullying complaint involving dozens of incidents was mishandled. The allegations come days after cyclist Matt Richardson was sent home from the World Track Championships in Shanghai. Lindsay also questioned the oversight provided by UK Sport, which has allocated £30 million to British Cycling for preparations for the LA Olympics.
