British tennis bans trans women from all competitive female matches

The policy expands on an existing restriction that previously limited trans women and non-binary people assigned male at birth only in certain competitions. The LTA cited the Equality and Human Rights Commission's new Code of Practice on the Equality Act, which followed a Supreme Court ruling clarifying that 'woman' and 'sex' in the Act refer to biological sex.
