British tennis player Dan Evans announces retirement after Wimbledon
British tennis player Dan Evans, 36, has announced he will retire following Wimbledon this summer. A former world No. 21, Evans won two ATP Tour titles β the ATP 500 in Washington in 2023 and the ATP 250 Murray River Open in 2021 β and was part of Great Britain's victorious Davis Cup team in 2015. He also partnered Andy Murray in the men's doubles at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the pair reached the quarter-finals.
