British wild card Fery shocks 9-seed at Wimbledon

British wild card Arthur Fery, world No. 114 and a two-time All-American at Stanford, defeated No. 9 seed Flavio Cobolli 6-4, 7-6 (4), 6-0 at Wimbledon on July 8, 2026, to reach the semifinals. Fery, who grew up approximately one mile from the All England Club, completed the upset in straight sets. He joins Coco Gauff, Kostyuk, and Noskova in the Wimbledon semifinal lineup.
