Brixworth Cricket Club secures long-term future with support from the Steelbacks Foundation

Brixworth Cricket Club has secured its long-term future by purchasing its ground through a new company led by the club and supported by the Steelbacks Foundation (Northamptonshire County Cricket Club's charitable arm). The ground was previously owned by local businessman Dallas Burston, who built it 20 years ago and has remained the club's Patron, but had been subject to development speculation in recent years. The new arrangement safeguards the site permanently for cricket and community use, with plans to invest in and enhance facilities.
