Broncos' Cooper removed from exempt list, could still face league discipline

Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper was removed from the NFL commissioner's exempt list on Friday, making him eligible to return to team activities. Despite being taken off the exempt list, Cooper could still face additional discipline from the league. The exempt list is typically used when a player is under investigation for a violation of league policies.
