Brooks Koepka withdraws from RBC Canadian Open ahead of final round due to hand injury
Brooks Koepka withdrew from the RBC Canadian Open before the final round on Sunday due to a hand injury affecting his grip, specifically with his ring finger and pinkie finger. The nine-time PGA Tour winner had started the week strongly with an opening-round 64 that put him tied for the lead at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, but struggled to a 2-over 72 in the third round as the injury worsened. Koepka said he could not grip the club properly and was unsure of the exact cause, noting that the problem appeared suddenly during warm-up on Saturday.
