Bruins to participate in NHL Global Series in 2027

The Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers will play a two-game series at Munich's SAP Garden as part of the 2027 NHL Global Series during the 2027-28 season, the NHL and NHLPA announced on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The games will mark the first time Munich has hosted NHL regular-season competition. The series was announced by Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs and will be held in the hometown of Bruins head coach Marco Sturm.
