Bruno Fernandes and Khadija Shaw win PFA Player of the Year awards

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has won the PFA Player of the Year award for the 2025-26 season, breaking the all-time Premier League assists record by setting up 21 goals, surpassing previous records held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne. Manchester City's Khadija Shaw claimed the women's PFA Player of the Year award for the second time. The awards ceremony was held at Manchester Opera House on August 26, 2026.
