Bruno Fernandes dropped for Bournemouth clash after criticism of Michael Carrick tactics

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been dropped for the club's match against Bournemouth after he publicly criticized manager Michael Carrick's tactics following a poor midweek result against Como. The decision was reported on October 25, 2026, and comes after Fernandes went on what was described as a remarkable diatribe targeting Carrick's tactical set-up. The move marks a significant disciplinary action against the team's captain by the United management.
