Bulldogs, Spartans Set for MEAC Men’s Tennis Title Showdown

The 2026 MEAC Men's Tennis Championship semifinals concluded on April 24 in Cary, N.C., setting up a title match between No. 1 seed South Carolina State and No. 3 seed Norfolk State. South Carolina State defeated Howard 4–0, with standout doubles pair Mikalai Bankou and Novak Novakovic winning 6–4 at No. 1 doubles, as the Bulldogs seek their sixth consecutive MEAC title. Norfolk State pulled off an upset over No. 2 seed North Carolina Central 4–1 and will compete for the program's first-ever MEAC men's tennis championship, with the match scheduled for 12 p.m. on ESPN+.
