Burnham: Man City charges 'not raised' in meetings
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that Manchester City's owners and directors did not raise the Premier League's charges against the club during their meetings, and said he was 'very happy' to provide details of those meetings after they were made public on Monday. It was revealed Burnham had a formal meeting with City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak at an investment summit, as well as interactions at Vincent Kompany's testimonial and on official overseas visits. Manchester City have been found guilty on all counts of breaching the Premier League's financial rules and the majority of charges related to failing to cooperate with the league's investigation.
