Byram traded to Blackhawks by Sabres for No. 4 pick in 2026 Draft
The Buffalo Sabres have traded defenseman Bowen Byram to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, defenseman Louis Crevier, and a second-round pick (No. 45) in 2026, with forward Jordan Greenway heading to Chicago. Byram, 25, posted a career-high 42 points (11 goals, 31 assists) in 82 games this season and added seven points in 13 playoff games. He has one year remaining on a two-year, $12.5 million contract and has recorded 152 points in 328 regular-season games across his NHL career with Colorado and Buffalo.
