BYU sophomore Kihei Akina among 3 golfers with BYU ties in PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship this week

The PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship, held at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, features three golfers with BYU ties: current BYU golfer Kihei Akina (playing on a sponsor exemption) and former Cougars Zac Blair and Patrick Fishburn, both active PGA Tour members. The tournament begins Thursday and serves as the final regular-season event before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin next week in Memphis, Tennessee. This marks the third time this professional golf season that three or more current or former BYU golfers have competed in the same PGA Tour event.
