Cameron Corbishley sets new British record at inaugural Half Marathon Race Walk National Championships

Cameron Corbishley of Medway and Maidstone set a new British record of 1:30:53 at the inaugural UK Athletics Half Marathon Race Walk National Championships, held at the Brownlee Centre in Leeds, claiming both the UK and England titles just two weeks after finishing 32nd at the World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships. In the women's race, Emily Ghose of Tonbridge AC made history by winning the first ever UK and England Athletics Half Marathon titles with a time of 2:03:58. In the accompanying 10km race, 2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Bethan Davies took victory in 49:37.
