Can Dalton Smith beat Ryan Garcia, Daniel Dubois, Naoya Inoue, and Shakur Stevenson to Fighter of the Year?

Dalton Smith is set to face Alberto Puello in Sheffield, with a victory potentially positioning him as the frontrunner for Fighter of the Year 2026. No clear standout has emerged for the award so far, with Shakur Stevenson's masterful win over Teofimo Lopez in January being a highlight but his inactivity since then leaving the door open. Other contenders mentioned include Ryan Garcia, Daniel Dubois, and Naoya Inoue.
