Can Tour De France Femmes recreate Yorkshire success of 2014?
The Tour de France Femmes is set to arrive in South Yorkshire in approximately one year, bringing the world's top female cyclists to the region. The event draws comparisons to the highly successful 2014 Tour de France men's race, whose second stage covered 125 miles (201km) from York to Sheffield on Sunday 6 July 2014, attracting huge crowds. Local business owners, including pub landlord John Wyke of The Old Horns Inn in Lower Bradfield, are eagerly preparing to capitalise on the anticipated influx of spectators.
