Canelo now ‘expecting’ to face one man for comeback fight: “I am unstoppable”

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is set to return to the ring on September 12 in Saudi Arabia for a world title fight, following his loss of all four super-middleweight titles to Terence Crawford in September 2025. Crawford subsequently retired and vacated the belts, with Christian Mbilli being upgraded to full WBC champion. Canelo's trainer and manager Eddy Reynoso has indicated that Mbilli is the expected opponent for the comeback fight, with Canelo declaring he is 'unstoppable' and determined to become world champion again.
