Capital City Tennis Classic provides chance for college, pro players to shine

The Capital City Tennis Classic is underway at Michigan State's new Spartan Tennis facility in East Lansing, marking the first major event at the venue following a $10 million upgrade dedicated in May. The tournament, established in 2019, features 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams from over 20 countries competing in a knockout bracket running through August 16. Players include current and former MSU athletes, elite college players, and emerging professionals competing for ITF World Tour ranking points and potential advancement to the Challenger Tour.
