Cardiff Half Marathon: Joyciline Jepkosgei sets new record

Kenya's Joyciline Jepkosgei won the 2026 Cardiff Half Marathon in a time of 1:05:40, setting a new women's course record that surpassed the mark set by Edith Chelimo in 2017. Ethiopian runners Wede Kefale and Tigist Tesema finished second and third in the women's race. In the men's event, Kenyan Gideon Kiprotich claimed victory in a time of 59:43, finishing ahead of 2025 winner Yismaw Dillu of Ethiopia.
