Carlos Alcaraz takes first title since February with victory in Japan Open final

Carlos Alcaraz won the Japan Open title by defeating Czech player Jiri Lehecka 7-6, 6-4 in the final, claiming his first individual title since February. It was only his third tournament since returning from a four-and-a-half month absence due to a wrist injury, and his second consecutive title in Tokyo. The win comes amid news that world number one Jannik Sinner will miss the rest of the year with a knee injury.
